Which washing lines are the best to buy?

- Do I need a wall-mounted line or do I need a washing wrack that stands?
- Do I need my new washing line to be able to be put away?

The different wash line types include:
Wall Mounted Washing Lines
These are washing lines that can be secured to an external wall. When erected, they hinge out from the wall and you are then able to hang the clothes from the many lines they hold. When not in use you can hinge the contraption down and fold it away.
Free Standing Washing Lines
These kinds of washing lines were common in many homes many years ago. They stand as a central pole that was usually built into the ground. They have several other poles jutting out from the central pole (like spokes of a wheel) with the washing line gut moving through each pole like a spider web.
Washing Line Wracks
These units are standalone wracks that can be easily transported from inside to outside. They are collapsible, so can be put away when not in use. These washing line options are great for use in small flats or when renting a room.
