TERMS AND CONDITIONS - BUCO BUCKS Benefit Card
Participating store: BUCO Oudtshoorn | Launch date: 01 March 2025
- The promoter of the Benefit Card is BUCO, a division of The Building Company (Pty) Ltd ("the Promoter").
- The name of the Promotion is the ‘BUCO BUCKS Benefit Card’ (“the Promotion”).
- The Promotion will be valid from 01 March 2025.
- BUCO BUCKS Benefit card and stickers will only be available, valid, and redeemable at BUCO Oudtshoorn.
- For every R2 000 you spend in-store, at the participating BUCO store, you’ll receive one (1) sticker.
- A completed card with 10 BUCO or Timbercity Oudtshoorn Stickers enables you to receive a R250 BUCO voucher.
- Stickers should be placed onto the card in its correct position, to fill the card.
- Stickers can only be issued at the point and time of purchase and cannot be claimed later.
- Cards which have been altered, amended, defaced, photocopied, damaged or do not bear valid BUCO stickers will be refused redemption.
- You may not collect a sticker on an exempt item, such as items that are below cost, already discounted, Value Producing items and services (including Value Added services) provided by The Building Company to Customers.
- Third party payments (e.g., utility bills) do not qualify for stickers.
- Completed cards are valid for the redemption of one R250 voucher only, after which the card must be handed in to the cashier and cannot be used for further redemptions.
- Stickers can only be collected on cash or deposit account transactions.
- You are not eligible to collect stickers if: -
- You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent or its affiliates/ divisions/subsidiaries or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the competition.
- You are a spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, immediate family member, business partner or associate of the persons specified in 14a.
- The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any user who enters using false information by robotic, automated or like means.
- The Building Company does not accept responsibility or liability for any loss or damage and will also not be responsible or liable for any further expenses or fees required for the purpose of using, applying, or enjoying the benefit card.
- Winners give BUCO and its authorised agents consent to use their names for publicity purposes, unless refused.
- BUCO reserves the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against BUCO.
- Your privacy is very important to BUCO and it will use reasonable efforts in order to ensure that any information, including personal information, provided by you, or which is collected from you, is stored in a secure manner. You agree to provide BUCO with accurate and current information and to maintain and update such information when necessary. The information collected by BUCO may be used to send you information about products, services, and special offers of the various companies in The Building Company group that may be of interest or value to you. The information may also be processed by Timbercity and other companies in The Building Company group, any of their operators, agents and sub-contractors (who may be outside South Africa) on the condition that they will keep such information confidential.
- You acknowledge that any information supplied to BUCO in terms of these Terms and Conditions is provided voluntarily.
- By submitting any information to BUCO in any form, you further acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the processing of such information by BUCO under any applicable law in the manner contemplated above, which consent shall, in the absence of any written objection received from you, be indefinite and/or for the period otherwise required in terms of any applicable law.
- Unless you have consented, BUCO will not sell, exchange, transfer, rent or otherwise make available any personal information about you (such as name, address, email address, telephone or fax number) to other parties and you indemnify BUCO from any unintentional disclosures of such information to unauthorized persons.
- Should you believe that BUCO has used your personal information contrary to applicable law, you shall first resolve any concerns with BUCO. If you are not satisfied with such a process, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
- You can choose to be excluded from direct marketing by notifying BUCO in writing or by registering a block on any registry which BUCO is bound by law to recognise. BUCO will not charge you a fee to update this request on its systems. BUCO will give effect to any changes requested by you as soon as reasonably possible.The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any user who enters using false information by robotic, automated or like means.
